This website is owned and run by artist Salma Prabhu, based in Palakkad, Kerala, India. By visiting this website or buying an artwork, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Original Artwork
- All paintings shown on this website are original artworks created by Salma Prabhu.
- Mediums include acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media on canvas or paper.
- Each piece is handmade and unique, so small variations in texture, edges, and brushstrokes are natural.
- Colors may appear slightly different in person compared to what you see on your screen, due to different monitors and lighting.
2. Prices & Currency
- All artwork prices are shown in USD (United States Dollars).
- The price listed for each painting is for the artwork only and does not include shipping.
- Shipping cost is extra and depends on your country and the size/weight of the artwork.
- The full amount (artwork price + shipping) will be confirmed with you by email before you make any payment.
3. How to Buy
- There is no cart or online checkout on this website.
- To buy a painting, please email: contact.salmasart@
gmail.com with the artwork title or screenshot, your country, city, and city/area (postal) code. - You will receive an email with availability, the total price in USD (artwork + shipping), PayPal payment details, and an estimated delivery time.
- Your order is confirmed only after you agree to the total by email and complete the payment via PayPal.
Travel Notice
- As I travel often, please contact me in advance if you’d like to buy a painting, so I can prepare everything and arrange shipping for you in time.
4. Payment
- Payments are accepted via PayPal (or any other method clearly agreed by email).
- The full amount (artwork price + shipping cost) must be paid before the artwork is shipped.
- Any fees charged by your bank, card provider, or PayPal are the buyer’s responsibility.
5. Shipping & Delivery
- All artworks are shipped from Palakkad, Kerala, India.
- After payment is confirmed, the artwork is carefully packed and shipped with a reliable courier (such as DHL or a similar service).
- A tracking number will be provided where available.
- Estimated delivery times:
- Within India: about 5–10 business days after dispatch
- International: about 7–21 business days after dispatch
- These times are estimates only; delays due to customs, couriers, holidays, or local issues are outside the control of Salma’s Art.
6. Customs & Additional Charges
- International orders may have customs duties, import taxes, or other local charges.
- These are not included in the artwork price or shipping cost.
- All such fees must be paid by the buyer and are not refundable by Salma’s Art.
7. Returns & Refunds
- I want you to be very happy and completely satisfied with your purchase.
- If there is a serious problem, I will do my best to resolve it.
- Because each painting is an original artwork, returns and refunds are very limited.
- Refunds are generally only considered if the artwork arrives significantly damaged in transit or the wrong artwork is sent.
- Change of mind, personal taste, or small color differences are not valid reasons for a refund.

8. Copyright & Use of Images
- When you buy an artwork, you own the physical painting, not the copyright.
- All copyright and reproduction rights remain with the artist, Salma Prabhu.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or use the artwork image for commercial purposes without written permission.
9. Website Content & Changes
- We try to show accurate images, sizes, and information for all artworks.
- Small differences may occur due to screen settings and the handmade nature of the paintings.
- Salma’s Art may change prices, descriptions, or these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.
- The latest version of the Terms & Conditions will always be available on this page.
